Pandemic Response – Full and Part-Time Support Workers in the Men’s and Women’s Homelessness Sector (3-6 month contracts with opportunity for permanent positions)
Mission Services is part of the coordinated access system in Hamilton for both men’s and women’s homelessness. We are responding to the ever-changing needs during the COVID-19 crisis. We are looking for staff to help in the Men’s Shelter and Willow’s Place (low-barrier day space for women). You could also be working in other temporary locations where men or women experiencing homelessness will be served.
Positions will remain open until they have been filled.
Food Services – Full-Time Cook
The Cook will prepare food and assist in food preparation for Mission Services sites. This position will require a working knowledge and a range of skills pertaining to working within Health and Safety guidelines and proper food handling techniques. The Cook will have a valid Food Handlers Certification and the ability to work a flexible schedule of day, afternoon and weekend shifts, as required to meet the needs of the programs.
