We are seeking a Director for Inasmuch House, a 37-bed emergency shelter for women and their children. This leader is passionately committed to the work of supporting women and children to find safety from violence and to heal from the trauma of abuse. The individual we seek will be committed to the vision of the organization, will be a tireless advocate for the issues of violence against women, and will empower staff in an ARAO workplace to innovate new programs to meet the changing needs of the women we serve. The Director will work collaboratively with the community to address the associated issues of violence against women, intimate partner violence, homelessness, oppression and abuse.

Do you have a solid knowledge of issues related to woman and child abuse and managing client cases? We are looking for a Residential Client Advocate on a relief basis at our Violence Against Women (VAW) shelter, Inasmuch House. This person will participate in delivering services directly to clients, including assessments, referrals and telephone crisis intervention. The successful candidate will also help to ensure the overall working and safety of the shelter, such as maintaining client files, logs, and statistics.
