Housing UP! is a Housing First program that helps men experiencing homelessness in Hamilton secure and maintain stable housing. More than just finding a place to live, the program provides 9 to 24 months of personalized support, ensuring long-term stability and self-sufficiency.

Through intensive case management, participants receive:

• Housing Navigation: Connecting individuals with private market landlords and housing opportunities.
• Ongoing Support: Case managers assist with mental health and addiction services, employment and education, and financial stability through programs like Ontario Works (OW), ODSP, and CPP-D.
• Community Reintegration: Helping individuals build independence, confidence, and social connections beyond just housing.

Since launching in 2020, over 600 men have moved into permanent housing through Housing UP! By fostering strong private market landlord partnerships, evidence-based support, and a commitment to lasting change, we help individuals move beyond survival mode and toward a future of stability, opportunity, and success.
