Mission Services provides flexible, evidence-based addiction support to help individuals navigate their recovery journey with dignity. Our programs offer group and one-on-one support, harm reduction, and housing assistance, meeting people where they are while guiding them toward stability.

We also offer groups for family and friends of loved ones who use substances.

Suntrac Treatment Program

A structured, flexible treatment program offering group and individual support, with both daytime and evening options to fit clients’ needs.

Suntrac incorporates best practices and evidence-based programming in the treatment of alcohol and drug use. We serve those 19 and older in Hamilton and the surrounding area. Our services are free and confidential for all participants.

Our program provides individualized supports to people seeking to make changes around their substance use and navigate their path to wellness. From stopping all substance use, cutting out a particular substance, or learning to use substances in a way that is less harmful to you.

While our services primarily focus on matters related to addictions, we recognize the importance of a holistic approach in one’s journey to recovery. We help people to meet their goals and needs in mental health wellness, physical health, housing, employment, legal matters, relationship and support networking, education, and other areas of life.

The Addiction Services space on the second floor of Mission Services’ Wentworth location means many different things to many different people. For some, it is a lighthouse, illuminating their path back from a dark place. For others, it is a brotherhood, a place where they find strength and encouragement from their fellow classmates. Others consider it a refuge, a place of safety and protection from harmful influences. The one thing that everyone can agree on, though, is that the caring and compassionate staff make it special.

Each year, the lives of over 1,500 clients are touched through the addiction programs at Mission Services.

Seeing relationships restored, goals reached, and people finding their way forward is the ultimate measure of success for addictions workers.
