November 1, 2021 – Public Health has declared an outbreak of COVID-19 at Inasmuch House, after declaring a suspected outbreak late last week. An additional three residents have tested positive, bringing our outbreak total to five residents. Arrangements have been made for the families to move into isolation. The Inasmuch team is working with Public Health to implement all control measures, and ongoing swabbing of residents and staff is taking place.
Public Health and the Shelter Health Network have visited the shelter throughout the pandemic and have indicated that we are following all of their recommendations and guidelines regarding safe practices and protocols.
