July 1 Hours and Observance

An image of different varieties of orange watercolour paint covering the entire image

The Good Food Centre, East Hamilton Food Centre, Addiction Services, and Administration will be closed Thursday July 1. Willow’s Place, Inasmuch House & Men’s Services (Shelter and Hotel) will operate as usual.

On July 1, we encourage our staff and community members to wear orange in solidarity with residential school victims, survivors, and their families.

We encourage all settlers to learn about the residential school system, read the Truth and Reconciliation Commission Report and Calls to Action, and support local and national Indigenous organizations. We have included a non-comprehensive list of places to donate, educational resources, and support lines for survivors and their families.
