Non-Essential In-Person Programs Paused

December 20, 2021 – All non-essential in person programming has been paused in light of the recent increase in COVID-19 cases in Ontario. Affected programs include The 196 afterschool youth program, Christmas camp, and youth afterschool meals. Addiction Services is focusing on virtual treatment and support groups.

The Good Food Centre, East Hamilton Food Centre, Inasmuch House, Willow’s Place, Emma’s Place, and Men’s Services (including shelter and hotel) are NOT affected and will continue to serve the community.

Mission Services is still holding walk-in COVID-19 vaccine clinics on Wednesdays from 11am-2pm at 196 Wentworth St. N.

  • Open to everyone ages 12+
  • Please use our Good Food Centre/Community Services Entrance.
  • Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are available for first and second doses and boosters (to those who are eligible).
