Food Services – Community Services Worker (Canada Summer Jobs)
The Community Services Worker will support staff in the Good Food Centre and Community Kitchen with the delivery of Food Services Programs. This includes assisting with the delivery of emergency food services in the Good Food Centre, including client intakes, preparation and maintenance of the hospitality station, assisting warehouse staff with accepting, sorting, and stocking of food and donations, food preparation in the Community Kitchen for youth meal programs, and assisting with administrative duties including answering phones, staffing the reception desk, and gathering and compiling statistics.

Human Resources – Human Resources Assistant (Canada Summer Jobs)
Mission Services is seeking a Human Resources Assistant funded by Canada Summer Jobs to aid our growing Human Resources Department. We are looking for someone who can work well both independently and as part of a team. Projects to be completed by the successful candidate in this position will include updating Mission Services’ New Staff Orientation program and creating agency specific orientation and training videos. Previous use of video editing software would be an asset. The Human Resources Assistant (CSJ) will have the opportunity to complete tasks in all areas of Human Resources, although this role will have a key focus on training and development. The desire to learn is a must.

Women’s Services – Residential Client Advocate (Relief)
The RCA will provide direct service to women and their dependents, including but not limited to conducting safety planning and risk management, completing client assessments and admits, offering housing information and completing housing applications, offering referrals, participating in conflict resolution and offering crisis intervention by phone and through web and text-based service
