We are hiring a relief position in our Community Services department on a 12-month contract. Some of the key responsibilities include working directly with clients, including intake, referrals, conflict resolution, and telephone intervention, and working in several programs such as our women’s drop-in, Good Food Centre, early intervention program, and community meal program. In addition, this position works closely with volunteers and helps to maintain information resources while contributing to the overall safety and success of our community programs.

We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of record keeping, procurement, and reporting and an ability to manage deadlines. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of Mission Services warehouse, including helping to train and supervise volunteers, rotating all donated and purchased food items for the Good Food Centre, and maintaining accurate statistical records and monthly program evaluations.
